Gazell is a stegosaurus who was a founder of the Stegosaur family, along with her husband Zac. She was one of the plant-eaters who escaped Earth in the Soar-a-saurus before the meteor hit. She accompanied Teggs, Arx, Gipsy, Iggy, and Zac in the herbivore camp and helped to protect her people from King Rokol, who was being manipulated and encouraged by another visitor from the future, General Loki the velociraptor. Teggs was privileged to see the marriage of his own ancestors and the creation of his family.

- Gazell is a Stegosaurus stenops.
- Gazell mentions that her first husband was eaten by a gang of T. rexes. T. rex lived in the Late Cretaceous period and never encountered the Late Jurassic Stegosaurus. Instead, the main predator Stegosaurus would have dealt with was the smaller Allosaurus.
